Integrated transportation centers are the most significant hubs identified as part of the metro project in the Gush Dan area. The goal of the interchanges is to provide the best connectivity between the various means of public transportation and become regional points of interest and attractions. By virtue of their location at key sites in the Gush Dan area, the interchanges have the potential to be a lever for regional development and become urban, economic, and cultural hubs. The goal is to turn the complexes into destinations in their own right and not just transit points. The complex planning process involves a variety of stakeholders and partners. The company manages the strategic process for engaging the various stakeholders, from vision building to detailed planning. The move sees stakeholders as critical partners in creating optimal plans. The strategic plan will allow for the identification of local strengths and defining of partnerships, while emphasizing the definition of the interrelationships between the physical aspects and principles, and linking the transportation project to the surrounding human, social and community fabric.
