The complex has been managed by the company since its opening in 2013 and offers a permanent historical exhibition that tells the story of the house and its residents, alongside a leading gallery for changing exhibitions

Hansen House was built in 1887 as a leper hospital. In 2009, the Jerusalem Municipality, through the Jerusalem Development Authority, decided to renovate the building and convert it into a cultural center. The company led the building’s planning, which involved a meticulous conservation concept, formulation of the work plan, and development of a unique operational model. Since opening in 2013, under the company’s management, the complex offers a permanent historical exhibition that tells the story of Hansen House and its residents, a leading gallery for changing exhibitions, a cinema, workshops, events, a fabrication laboratory, a cafe-bar, and a unique public garden. Hansen House is home to several Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design advanced degree programs; Mamuta Art & Research Center and its residency program in contemporary art; Erev-Rav, a journal of arts, culture and society; the Jerusalem Film and Television Fund; the Ofaimme Farm café; and Hadir bar. Hansen House hosts over 200 content and cultural events annually, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors
