As part of the transformation of Sderot Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Boulevard) into a central traffic artery of the light rail’s Red Line, work is underway to expand the Heine-Shlavim-Elifelet artery, for vehicle traffic. This complex engineering project is proceeding in the heart of a functioning urban fabric. A variety of land uses, including residential, light industry, and commercial, border the significant transportation route. The company was involved in aspects of public participation and coordination with the communities and institutions adjacent to the construction route. During the work, the company remains in direct contact with the parties on the ground and maintains a high-level presence and involvement with the aim of adapting the planning to the residents’ needs, reducing objections, and enabling the continuous progress of the important engineering project.
